NGGF Essay Submission

About

Next Gen. Global Frontier (NGGF) is a European-based think tank and development-impact organization that redefines the role of youth in shaping and influencing the next generation of global governance. We are proud to be launching our inaugural call for essay submissions from undergraduate and graduate students. You are warmly invited to submit an essay for publication on NGGF’s website as a Next Gen. Young Leader.

Our focus at NGGF is on the next generation of global challenges that can only be addressed by working in collaboration as a global community. Preliminarily, five key issue areas have been identified for you to consider:

  1. Climate Change
  2. Energy Transition
  3. Disruptive Technology,
  4. Geopolitics
  5. Displacement and Migration.

You may choose any one of the five issue areas to write on. However, if you feel strongly about another key area of concern that is not listed above, we invite you to write on that topic as well.

You are encouraged to think broadly and creatively. As you develop your essay, factors to consider may include but are not limited to issue-linkages, stakeholders, urgent versus important problems, barriers to entry, resources required, and policy recommendations moving forward etc.

The scope may be as broad or as narrow as you wish to define – i.e., a within country, cross-country, regional, or global analysis. Most important is the quality and robustness of your research and ideas.

Authors will be supported by NGGF’s editorial team prior to publication and may be given the opportunity to share their essay as a Next Gen. Young Leader on an expert panel consisting of practitioners, industry leaders, politicians, academics, etc.
