Who
We Are
Founded in November 2021, the NGGF is an international organization that positions emerging global leaders in international law and development policy to engage with key stakeholders. The NGGF actively collaborates with partners involved in sustainable development leadership projects, technological development, and entrepreneurial solutions crucial to closing the gaps between the promise and practice of international law and development objectives expressed in high-level sustainability agreements and frameworks such as the Paris Agreement and the Glasgow Climate Pact.
The NGGF serves as a professional think tank and development-impact organization that defines the role of youth in shaping and influencing the next generation of global governance. We focus on research, innovation, and development projects advanced by frameworks of action such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to bring about local change and lasting impact.
Overall, we host summits and promote discourses which constitute preparatory grounds for the next generation of global leaders to debate, take action, and redefine responsible leadership by leveraging their existing cross-continental ties, collective knowledge, and fervent passion to tackle the present and emerging sustainable development frontiers of our generation and beyond.
Drafting advisory policy briefs on defined sustainability projects to the stakeholders involved within the NGGF’s network to transform key commitments into implementation on the development goals.
Co-execution of sustainability projects in line with advancing the goals and objectives set within the founding charters or agreements with our partners.
Reviewing challenges and lessons learnt from the projects executed with stakeholders to test and inform future policy initiatives and frameworks.
Providing funding updates, training workshops and actionable insights from our sustainability governance series (SGS) and global governance insights (GGS) reports to the sustainability entrepreneurs and innovators within our network.

Our
Strategic Roles
Connecting development research findings with stakeholders and sectoral actors in academia, policy and business environments for social impact on the SDGs.
A new thought leadership space – mobilizing knowledge for the public (formal and informal sectors) often left out in the conversation for action on climate justice and sustainable development.
We are informed by the emergence of new disruptions putting global governance and development under pressure.
